I had a chance to talk to Debbie briefly this morning as I call her every day, but today is different, she is writing notes and barely able to talk. She does not want to go. She is so aware of what is happening but so weak and whispering and crying, which makes her worse. She is a very strong woman who has fought quite a fight. She said "I Love You" and I said "I Love You". I wrote out a card and mailed it today, hoping it will get to her in time, and in the same respect hoping she gets her wings soon so her suffering will end. Hugs, love and a tight hand hold to you, my friend.

  1. She sounds like such a wonderful person. I hope she isn't in too much pain. She sounds like a strong and loving person.

  2. Lorraine, she is a wonderful person. She is now on morphine to keep her comfortable until she gets her wings, which should not be long now.

  3. Darlene, this is such a touching post. May God bless her and YOU.

  4. Thank you for stopping by Barb and thank you for your kind words. Debbie is still hanging on. Amazing that she is. Barely able to speak, not drinking or eating for 3 days now so they are keeping her comfortable.
