PLANT FROM MY MOM'S NEIGHBOR - DOES ANYONE KNOW THE NAME OF THIS PLANT?
Yesterday I planted this plant that my Mom's neighbor pulled out of his yard and gave to me on Saturday. He does not speak clear English, so I am not sure what this is. He has lots of cactus and exotic succulent plants in his yard and they reproduce, as this one will and flower.

I am pretty sure it is called hen and chicks. We had them when I was a kid and mom has some in her back yard. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the name. Now it makes sense that Mom's neighbor said "chic" but did not know how to spell it. Come to think of it we had these also. Now I know how to care for it. It does not have the hard point like I am seeing online on the edge of the leaves. Maybe that happens later.
