MOTHER'S DAY DESSERT



Early this morning, my husband went to the store
to pick up my favorite dessert, Boston Cream Fresh
Strawberry cake. What a great husband to make today
so special for me.

    He is so sweet. They were all out yesterday, so he went out this morning to make sure he got one.

    Have you not had a sweet thick sauce on strawberries like this? I wish I could sen this to you. It is one of my favorites. The custard in the middle was delicious also.

    Lorraine, if you make it here some day, go to Safeway and try theirs. You need to be here during Strawberry season though. We have lots of Farmers Markets also. Lots of great fruits and vegetables in the spring and summer. It is fun seeing the differences in foods we have from country to country.
